  • 1:00 PM - Cake Cutting Ceremony
  • 1:30 PM - Lion Dance Performance
  • 2:00 PM - Taiko Drum Performance
  • 2:30 PM - Weapons Demonstrations
  • 3:00 PM - Group Tour of the Museum

  • 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM - Kamishibai Performances (Upstairs)
  • 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM - Origami Station (Upstairs)
  • 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM - Calligraphy Station (Current Calligraphy Area)
  • 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM - Docent-led Tours in Hakata Hall
  • 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM - Kids Toys Area (Manned by Volunteers)

Event Highlights

The Asian Cultures Museum has been a cornerstone of cultural exchange and education for half a century. Established by Mrs. Billie Trimble Chandler, the museum has grown into a vibrant institution celebrating the rich diversity of Asian cultures. This special day will feature performances, activities, and food, providing a perfect opportunity for the community to come together and honor Mrs. Chandler's legacy. We look forward to celebrating with you!
