Inari sushi is a traditional type of sushi made with vinegared rice stuffed inside sweet and salty deep-fried tofu pockets. In Japan, it’s known as Inarizushi and is one of the easiest types of sushi to make at home. It is enjoyed by both children and adults and is vegetarian- and vegan-friendly.

This is a part of the “Wa-Shokuiku program” Table For Two which aims to impart a basic understanding of nutrients, manners, and appreciation of food. Wa-Shokuiku combines the Japanese words “Washoku (和食)” referring to Japanese food and “Shokuiku (食育)” meaning food education. Washoku, which literally means harmony in food, is recognized as one of the world’s healthiest diets.
